About us

We are a maritime and logistics service provider with several offices across the Netherlands. From our Vlissingen branch, we support (super)yacht projects and maritime clients with a combination of hospitality, coordination, and operational services. This includes smooth vessel calls, arranging practical matters for owner teams and crew, and supporting logistics such as forwarding and customs handling.

About the Role

For our office in Vlissingen, we are looking for a Yachting Agent (Hospitality & Operations Support) who will support our operations and act as a first point of contact for clients, crew, and partners. You will support the Operations Manager with daily planning, follow-up, and communication.

Your Responsibilities

Hospitality & Reception

  • Welcome and assist clients, crew, and visitors in a professional manner
  • Organize appointments and meetings (scheduling, rooms, reception, practical arrangements)
  • Provide service-minded communication: proactive updates, good availability, and clear information

Operations Support

  • Support the Operations Manager with planning, follow-up, and maintaining oversight
  • Monitor action points and deadlines, identify bottlenecks, and proactively provide input
  • Create and maintain checklists, schedules, and simple reports
  • Coordinate internally with colleagues and externally with suppliers/partners

Customs & Forwarding (trainable growth path)

  • Assist in dossier preparation and documentation (checking completeness and accuracy)
  • Participate in standard customs/forwarding processes and learn to perform these independently
  • Communicate with terminals, carriers, and other partners to ensure smooth calls and shipments
  • Work according to established procedures, with attention to quality and compliance

Who You Are

  • MBO/HBO level thinking and working skills
  • Hospitality-minded: service-oriented, presentable, and strong communication skills
  • Organized and stress-resistant: able to maintain oversight and set priorities
  • Proactive: you see what needs to be done, take action, and complete tasks
  • Eager to learn: motivated to develop skills in customs and forwarding
  • Good command of Dutch and English (written and spoken)
  • Experience in hospitality, office support, planning, or operations is an advantage
  • Experience with customs/forwarding is a plus but not required
  • Driver’s license B: required
